Provided below is a timeline for our deployment of virtual student library cards.

Completed items in italics.


April 8: Overview of project communicated to School Board.

April (various dates): Review of program with high school staff.

April 29: Parent communication and opt-out letter sent out (8th-11th grade student families).

May 10: Final day to opt-out.

May 13: Accounts for current 8th-11th grade students created (next school year 9th-12th graders).

Summer: Review any feedback on initial roll-out and make adjustments as needed.

August: HS Registration - Communication and opt-out letter provided to new enrollees about the program.

September 2019: Review of program with middle school staff.

September 2019: Parent communication and opt-out letter sent out (6th-8th grade student families).

September/October 2019: account creation for 6th-8th grade students.

December 2019: Review of program with elementary school staff.

December 2019: Parent communication and opt-out letter sent out (K-5th grade student families).

January 2020: Account creation for K-5th grade students.
