Overview

Follow the directions below to change your password.

Passwords can take up to 5 minutes to sync to Google and Office 365 (staff email) after changing. If your password doesn't work immediately after changing, wait a few minutes and try again.

Note that you are not required to change passwords on an annual basis. For more information about our password policy please go to our District Password Policy page. 


Step-by-step Guide

Mac

Select NoMAD (triangle icon) from the top menu bar and select Change Password. 

iPad

Tap SSO Portal icon from the home screen.

PC

Browse to https://sso.shakopee.k12.mn.us.


Log in with your district username and password. 

Select Change Password and set a new password.

Set a new password. You will need to supply your current password.

If you don't know your current password contact the help desk at helpdesk@shakopee.k12.mn.us or 952-496-5100. 

Your password must meet the password requirements. 

  • Minimum of 8 characters.
  • Maximum of 16 characters.
  • Cannot contain any part of your name or username.
  • Cannot be any of your last three passwords.

Stop here if you're not a Mac user. 

Mac users continue below. 

Once a new password has been changed successfully, NoMAD will prompt to sync the local Mac password to the new password.

Select Sign In. Enter your username and new password. 

Enter your old password and select Sync. Your old, local Mac password will be changed to your new password.
