The Google Drive Canvas integration sometimes stops working or fails to connect due to cookie and pop-up settings. Follow the steps below when you aren't able to connect or upload a file from Google Drive. Note these steps are specific to Google Chrome.
Select cookie icon from address bar, then "Manage cookie blocking...", and uncheck "Block third-party cookies and site data."
Go to Settings > Advanced > Privacy and security > Content settings > Pop-ups and redirects
Remove Google Drive integration from Canvas. Browse to Canvas > Settings > Approved Integrations. Select the trash can icon to remove the integration.
Clear your browsing history and cache. Ellipsis > More Tools... > Clear Browsing Data...
Change time range to all time and then clear data.
Try to connect Google Drive to Canvas again through the original upload link.
