HOW TO CHANGE DEFAULT PRINT SETTINGS ON A MACBOOK  

Default print settings are set to double sided and black and white. You can change the print settings on your MacBook by following the steps below.  

Note: The location of the default print settings are different depending on what application you are in.   Scenarios for various programs are shown below.

Step-by-step Guide

Microsoft Word (and other Microsoft Office programs)

Select Print.

Set printer to SabersPrint (You must have SabersPrint selected to show the correct print options).

From the “Copies & Pages” option:


Select “Finishing” from drop down menu to change to single sided printing.


Select  “Quality” from the drop down menu to change to color printing.



Chrome Browser

Select Print.

Select “Print Using System Dialog” at the bottom of the screen.


Set printer to SabersPrint.

From the “Layout” drop down menu...

Select “Finishing” from drop down menu to change to single sided printing.



Select  “Quality” from the drop down menu to change to color printing.



Outlook Mail

Select Print.

Set printer to SabersPrint.

Under the “Outlook” drop down menu:

Select “Finishing” from drop down menu to change to single sided printing.



Select  “Quality” from the drop down menu to change to color printing.



Saving Preset Options

You can save your current settings as default by selecting “Save Current Settings as Preset…”
